Remued Pottery History (1930’s – 1950’s)
Remued’ was a line of art pottery dating from the early 1930s to the mid-1950s “PPP”, “Remued” and “Pamela” were trade names or marks used by Premier Pottery, Some ‘Remued” and “Pamela” pieces are also marked “Hand Made” Established in Preston Melbourne by two Potters, David Dee and Reg Hawkins in 1929 “Remued” wares are recognisable by their drip-glazes, use of gum leaves and gumnuts for decoration, twig-like handles on jugs, vases and bowls, and applied decoration featuring grapevines, koalas and other animals Remued pottery is highly collectable, ranging from small simple pots to rare decorated pieces that sell for thousands of dollars.
Condition
This Amazing Beautiful Jug has no chips, no cracks, no significant scratches, and no restoration does have a factory blemish to handle (See Photos) & some crazing in (Great Condition) for age See Photos as photos play an important role in description of condition will be posted in Cardboard and foam packaging send us a message so we can do combined postage to save you money if you buy more than one item Please note that some items cannot be combined because of delicate nature e.g. Delicate Glass items
